STATION -
The National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) is
an entirely voluntary organisation keeping a visual watch along UK shores. Each
station assists in the protection and preservation of life at sea and around the
UK coastline. Currently over forty NCI stations are fully operational and manned
by over 1700 volunteers keeping watch around the British Isles from Cornwall in
the South West to Wearside in the North East.
Torbay Coastwatch Station was set up on
Daddyhole plain in Torquay to keep a visual safetywatch on the area that is
Torbay. It relies on the goodwill of a large bunch of trained volunteers
to keep the station running

MACstarted as a guitarist and vocalist with a group back in the 60's, at the same time as singing in amateur operatics and working as a DJ at a large ballroom in Torquay, Devon. Career and family put a block on all entertainment activity for many years.
In the 90's he took vocal coaching and sang with a big band. Then started guesting with other cabaret entertainers until he took the plunge and went out on his own.
