ABOUT US

In this picture we are trying out our wedding gear for our son's wedding in Virginia U.S.A.  Believe us, we don't normally look like this.

We are Peter and Patricia Dell.

Patricia had been a child minder for 20 years and had moved to Bristol from London with Peter's work for the BBC in 1984.  Peter became redundant in 1991 and started his own business supplying production crews to the media under the name of DELL production services which is still used today for the chalets and for Peter's work with Graphics, Desk Top Publishing and Computers, which has come in handy for producing our brochures and designing and maintaining this web site.

We downsized in 2003 from our property in Bristol to move to Torquay in South Devon.  We used spare cash to purchase a couple of chalets at Norton Park, which we service ourselves.  We personally clean the chalets and change the bed linen, before each guest arrives and of course, clean up after they have left.

Patricia is responsible for Reservations, Chalet Servicing and Accounts, whilst Peter deals with Transportation, Chalet Maintenance and Marketing (But he does also try to help Patricia, even down to the occasional bit of ironing).
